History

Triocon was established in October 1993, under the name Arthur Morris & Partners. In 2005, the name was changed to Triocon Consulting Engineers. Ebrahim Abrahams and Johan Botha, two of the original founding members are still currently active in the company.

In March 2014, as part of an expansion plan, Triocon became a subsidiary of NAKO Group (Pty) Ltd.  The NAKO Group is an African-owned and operated multi-disciplinary engineering group that was established with the aim of further expansion into the rest of Africa.  With a combined resource base of over 500 employees, the NAKO Group would be able to dedicate its efforts in the sustainable development of infrastructure within the African continent.  Towards the end of 2019, it was decided to regroup, and to terminate Triocon’s involvement in the NAKO Group.  From December 2020 Triocon Consulting Engineers are operating independently from the NAKO Group and trading as TRIOCON.

TRIOCON has (and will continue to deliver) delivered projects across the electrical, electronic, mechanical and fire engineering disciplines in partnership with its clients, throughout the Southern African region.  Its team of innovative engineers is committed to technical excellence by providing optimum engineering solutions for their clients.  Over the past 20 years, TRIOCON has expanded its African footprint with projects in Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Nigeria, Swaziland, and Zambia.
