Ebrahim Abrahams is the Executive Chairman of NAKO Triocon. As a registered professional engineer (Pr Eng) he is the Head of the Triocon Electrical Department. He was one of the founding members of Arthur Morris and Partners and became the Executive Chairman of Arthur Morris and Partners in 2001. Prior to this Ebrahim was working for CA du Toit and Partners as Engineer and Project Leader on the Mossgass Offshore Platform and Amcoal Colleries. Ebrahim has specialist experience in Petrochemical Production and Storage Facilities, Office Buildings, Shopping Centres, Industrial Plant, Project Co-ordination, Motor Controls, Township Reticulation: HV and LV and Standby Generators UPS. He currently manages various multidisciplinary type projects as project director in NAKO Triocon

Managing Director

Johan Botha is the Managing Director/CEO of NAKO Triocon since 2001.  In 1993 he was one of the founding members of Arthur Morris and Partners and in 2005 the name was changed to Triocon Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd.

He has been in Consulting Engineering for 30 years specialising in the design of integrated electrical and electronic systems for various commercial and industrial projects. He also has specialist knowledge and experience in the design of integrated electronic systems, such as security systems  for various national Key points; Audio and Video systems; Access control and Ticketing systems; Fire detection systems; Property management systems; Energy and alarm monitoring and control systems.

In addition to his Managing Director/CEO duties, Johan Botha also serves as the NAKO TRIOCON, Financial Director and Project Director where he manages various multi-disciplinary electrical, electronic and mechanical type projects. He also serves as an Executive Director on the NAKO Group Board of Directors.

Charl Esterhuysen is a Director of NAKO Triocon, and as registered professional Engineer (Pr Eng) is the Head of the Triocon Mechanical Department. Charl has 18 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer and has specialised experience in the detailed design of air conditioning and ventilation systems, mechanical systems including drying facilities, elevator systems, airport baggage conveying and sortation systems, domestic and fire protection water reticulation, steam, humidity control systems, compressed air, procurement of equipment, bulk water pump systems, off-peak energy storage systems, computer room close control AC and mechanical plant including life cycle cost analysis. He currently manages various multidisciplinary type projects as project director in Triocon.

John Gant is a Director of NAKO Triocon, and based in Port Elizabeth, is the Regional Director responsible for the Eastern Cape region. John is a registered professional engineer (Pr Eng), with 24 years’ experience, and while working as project engineer at Koeberg Nuclear Power Station, also attained a Westinghouse Nuclear Engineers qualification. After obtaining an MBA at UCT, he gained manufacturing and operations experience in the rigid plastic packaging (Bowler Metcalf) and cosmetics (Amcos Cosmetics) industries, before returning to the consulting engineering industry. John has successfully established the NAKO Triocon office in Port Elizabeth, and is responsible for all electrical and electronic services projects in the Eastern Cape. In addition, as project director for all projects in the Eastern Cape, he currently manages all multi-disciplinary projects in the Eastern Cape.

Felix Fongoqa graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a BSc Engineering in 1988 and a Graduate Diploma in Engineering in 1990. Over the years, he has worked for a range of highly reputable consulting engineering firms in South Africa, starting as assistant engineer and progressing to junior design engineer, project engineer and project leader. In 1994, he was promoted to the position of associate at HKS Law Gibb (now Gibb Engineering and Science).
